A three room house with a summer kitchen was built in 1897. The barn was built shortly afterwards, but a tornado came through and moved the barn off of it's foundation. The present barn was used for sheep until Ron & Debbie Lantz purchased the farm in 1980 and reconstructed the barn to house dairy cattle. In 1983, an addition was added for a heifer barn. The barn is still being used as a working dairy free stall barn.
