This farm was purchased in 1974, and it has been in the Sliker family for 33 years. Large hand-hewed beams with pegs found in the barn indicate that it may be 100 Years old. There is a single row of stantions for milking cows and several box stalls. This barn is the oldest building on the farm.

The quilt pattern selected represents family quilt making history with the Dresden Plate.
