Barn Quilt Locations
3660 State Route 245, West Liberty
Barn Owners: Mark and Lori Dowden
Quilt Square: "Ohio Star Variation"
Sponsors: The Dowden Family

The Dowdens have only owned this barn for since 2007. It was previously in the Harley and Bertha King family for many years. A sign on the front of the barn says "Glady Creek 1912". The Kings used the barn for pigs and milking cows. It is now used to house farm machinery, straw, and 4-H animals.
The original wood framed and wood sided barn has been covered with metal siding.
Lori Dowden selected the Ohio Star quilt block from a quilt she won in the Ohio Cattle Women's Association quilt auction raffle. The quilt she won was made and donated by Margaret Hager.
