Pat Delaney - Golf Pro
Originally constructed around a six hole layout, P.F. "Pink" Dye (father of Pete) turned farmland into the Urbana Country Club in 1922 and was the first golf course in the country to have bent grass greens. The club has played host to Gene Sarazan, Tommy Armour, Walter Hagen, Sam Snead and Jack Nicklaus. In 1991 P.B. Dye designed the new 9. Complimenting each other, these two nine hole courses provide a unique golfing experience.  Less than one hour scenic drive from Columbus or Dayton, the Urbana Country Club offers dining and banquet facilities.
