About the Barn Quilt Tour

Begun in 2006 by a committee consisting of members of the business community and local quilters, the Barn Quilts of Champaign County has blossomed into a major attraction that introduces visitors to the beauty of Champaign County and celebrates the local agricultural heritage, the art of quilting and the community's other cultural and business highlights.
Each barn owner, with the help of the committee, designs their own quilt, based on many factors, such as their family and farm history, and favorite quilt pattern.
Do you have a Barn in Champaign County that needs a quilt? Call us at (937) 653-5764 and we'll be glad to get you started!
Each fall for an entire weekend, five barns are highlighted as "walk-in" barns. Visitors are encouraged to tour the barns, learn about their history, and partake in all of the festivities at each barn.
